Sunday 7 September      Recital in Christchurch
This concert is part of the excellent Sundays At Four series put on by The Piano. Concerts are an hour long and this time I will play the magnificent Sonata in G, D.894 by Franz Schubert and the final set of Bagatelles Op.126 by Beethoven. 4 - 12 October       At The World's Edge Festival
This is a festival of chamber music and features terrific colleagues from NZ and overseas. It takes place in the Queenstown/Wanaka area and I am involved in six concerts. Saturday 15 November       Manukau Symphony Orchestra
Back with Uwe Grodd's happy band, this time to play Mozart's dramatic Concerto in D minor, K.466, Beethoven’s favourite of the twenty-seven Mozart piano concertos. Dvorak's indomitable 'New World' symphony is also on the programme. As usual we play in the Due Drop Events Centre and the concert starts at 7.30pm. Go to manukausymphony.org.nz for all the details.
